Do I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. While Tim Burton comes from the old-school analog era, he shot Beetlejuice Beetlejuice with digital cameras— and not just any cameras. The production used Sony CineAlta Venice 2, some of the best digital cameras currently available, equipped with 6K and even 8K sensors. Most importantly, they offer an exceptional level of detail, making them perfect for the vibrant fantasy world of Tim Burton. The raw footage from these cameras was then processed entirely within a 4K post-production pipeline. As a result, the Ultra HD Blu-ray delivers a native 4K transfer, boasting audiovisual quality that ranks at the top of current standards—essentially, reference-level material.
