Do I get native 4k Ultra HD?
Yes. Like all films before digital intermeddiates and post-production, Coppola's Dracula was made in front of analogue cameras, so for the new home theatre release the studio was able to go back to the original 35mm negatives, restore them, scan them in 4k and then create a master for a native Ultra HD presentation. In addition to the increase in detail and clarity over the vintage Blu-ray edition, one can expect better sharpness, better reproduction of film grain and, thanks to better compression, a generally "crunchier" transfer. On top of that, the new transfer takes the film's visual qualities up several levels with HDR and WCG, which wring the most out of the film's raw material.
