Do I get native 4k Ultra HD?
Yes. Ron Howard shot the film on classic 35mm film, which was not downsampled to a lower resolution master for post-production. So for the Ultra HD Blu-ray transfer, the studio was able to scan the original negatives and provide the video with 4k equivalent source material. As a result, the transfer delivers slightly more detail and better grain definition. Visually, The Grinch never looked dazzling, but HDR allows it to take advantage of a wider color and brightness palette in some scenes that push UHDBD beyond the limits of traditional Blu-ray.

Už jsem koupil "skandinávskou edici" Ultra HD BD Grinche se stejnou AV výbavou, jakou bude mít "česká" edice. Zvuk i obraz UHD disku jsou vynikající.
