Do I get native 4k Ultra HD?
Yes. The Core was still shot on classic 35mm film. Of course, digital effects interfered with it and were created at unspecified resolutions (with a high probability of 2k or less), but the core of the Core is classic 35mm film, whose theoretical resolution is 6k. So when the studio decided to create a new anniversary master in 2023, it could have reached into the archives for analog negatives and created a new native 4k master after a complete restoration. While it doesn't garner a lot of praise, it very likely "wrings" the most out of the source material, both in terms of resolution and HDR.
