Do I get native 4k ULTRA HD?
Yes. Christopher Nolan shot the third Dark Knight as a big proponent of analogue on 35mm film, and for the bigger action scenes he opted for IMAX cameras with 65mm film stock, whose theoretical resolution is far above any currently existing digital standards. In addition, Nolan finishes his films photochemically, never making conventional DI prints (these are made before distribution), so for the purposes of the UHD presentation the studio went back to the original negatives and made a new 4k master. Nolan himself oversaw its creation and the subsequent HDR pass, so there is no question that UHDBD will deliver the best version of the film available, which, moreover, cannot be rivalled by DI prints for conventional digital cinemas.
