Do I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. Second Nun was shot on a Sony CineAlta Venice 2 digital camera, which is one of the current cutting edge digital production cameras. The capabilities of its chipset from the position of Ultra HD transfer can be appreciated not only in the depiction of detail, but also in the ability to record in minimal lighting conditions without much colour noise, allowing horror filmmakers to properly fiddle with the detail and shadowing. Of course, the presence of HDR also helps in this regard, taking care of quality brightness and tonal transitions. So while The Nun II may not be much of a visual show, the possibilities of the Ultra HD format take it a step further above any other distribution format - the film didn't even look that good in theaters. The Dolby Atmos track then, of course, works wonders, as horror films should.
