Do I get native 4k Ultra HD?

The new Transformers rely entirely on digital animation. As such, they were finalized in 2K. However, when discussing the visual quality of the Ultra HD Blu-ray transfer, the difference between native 4K and 4K upscaled from 2K is almost indistinguishable due to the nature of the animation. Therefore, we can expect the current technological standard from the UHDBD in terms of sharpness, detail, and compression. Where the title truly shines is in its color reproduction and HDR, whose potential is naturally broader in animation. Within the limits of animation, the disc is expected to deliver top-tier visual quality, comparable to native 4K even under critical scrutiny.
