Do I get native 4k ULTRA HD?

Cinematographer Charlotte Bruus Christensen shot the entirety of A Quiet Place on 35 mm film, even the night scenes, which are usually shot more on digital cameras. However, since part of the film is also based on digital effects, and since A Quiet Place is more of a low-budget film, the complete post-production was done in 2k instead of 4k. So for the UItra HD Blu-ray, the original master is upsampled and stands primarily on HDR's ability to work with blacks.

Do I get native 4k ULTRA HD?

Yes. The third film in this horror franchise was shot with Arri Alexa 35, a new camera from the legendary manufacturer whose digital chip, equivalent in size to the Super35, shoots natively at 4.6k resolution. So there's more than enough image information in the raw footage to bring sharpness and detail to the level of reference materials in this 4k master. Not only that, the Alexa 35 chip has excellent dynamic range, making it suitable for native HDR presentations. Not to mention the capabilities in color reproduction, from which in turn will benefit WCG. In other words, the technologies used in the shoot promise a reference quality in every conceivable way.
