Do I get native 4k Ultra HD?
Yes. Legendary cinematographer Roger Deakins shot Mendes' Bond film on digital cameras from Arri and RED at a combined resolution of 5k and 2.8k. He then combined the daily footage for post-production on a native 4k master. The Ultra HD Blu-ray thus benefits not only from a tremendous increase in fine detail, backed by Deakins' technical precision, but also from the format's other advantages (h.265 compression, HDR, WCG), leading to a definitive representation of Craig's third Bond film and a transfer that's closer to the creator's vision than ever before - and better looking than ever, too.
