Do I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. The third Sonic adventure was shot under the supervision of Arri Alexa 35 digital cameras, which are among the newest models from this legendary company. As such, they are considered the pinnacle of current mainstream Hollywood production technology. The new "35" features a digital sensor equivalent in size to analog Super 35. It offers raw footage at a resolution of 4.6k, which is more than sufficient for subsequent native 4k post-production.

Given the nature of the film, which includes a significant number of fully CGI scenes, as well as the fact that it was graded for Dolby Vision projection, viewers can expect a visually perfect show. The image quality boasts top-notch sharpness and fine detail, color accuracy, and, in the case of the "animated" segments, exceptionally vibrant HDR. This already outstanding presentation is elevated to the level of highest visual quality.
