Do I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. As is McQuarrie's custom with "impossible missions", the last double episode was shot on several different kinds of digital cameras, which complemented each other depending on which one was needed for the specifics of a particular scene. Thus, the state-of-the-art Sony CineAlta Venice worked in the quieter scenes, the Arri Alexa Mini LF in the more action-packed ones, and the Z CAM E2-F6 helped out in the most action-packed ones. Everything was recorded in 6k or 4.5k, which definitely gives the native 4k master something to draw from in terms of detail and sharpness. Only this time we can't count on the variable aspect ratio, which McQuarrie and editor Hamilton decided not to use because it would have been distracting. So this has not been transferred from IMAX. Even so, we can expect the ultimate 4k experience that almost no other distribution platform, from cinema to VoD, can match. UHDBD still remains the "unbeaten" presentation of this film.
