Do I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. The production of the sequel to the disaster classic was, unusually for today's standards, done through the lens of analogue film cameras. The filmmakers very likely opted for 35 mm film because of its "rougher" characteristics, and thus the atmosphere it is visually capable of creating. This, of course, does not change the fact that the dailies were subsequently scanned into digital form and the entire post-production was done in the form of ones and zeros. The important thing is that the final master was created in 4k resolution. The Ultra HD Blu-ray therefore takes from the native 4k file, making it capable of delivering all the qualities associated with the UHD format - both superb clarity and sharpness, as well as perfect colour and brightness reproduction that outshines even standard cinema projections. In other words, the home cinema version is technically the highest quality copy available, and in terms of picture and sound, it's the absolute best you can expect.
